Fun in the Sun in the Dominican for Thrivers

Now that warm weather is here, how quickly we forget that It seemed like winter was never going to end this year. A group of Thrivers ensured the end to their winter by heading off to warm sandy beaches and sunny days in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, this spring. The all-inclusive resort of Vista Sol was home to more than twenty Thrivers and chaperones for a week of fun in the sun. It was just the remedy they needed to get over the winter blues and prep for summer fun!

Heading to Punta Cana included an overnight in the electrifying Miami Beach. Then it was off to the resort which featured three pools, a host of daytime activities, spirited nightlife, and white sand beaches bustling with activity.

For Thriver Su-Lin Po it was not her first time heading out of the country with Thrive, but it was her first time visiting the Dominican Republic. “I wanted to see what it was like to have a new experience, in a new place,” Su-Lin shared. Her favorite activities included visiting an orphanage in town, playing beach volleyball, shopping at the mall, and of course eating the delicious food.  She also added, “One night we went to see a high wire act. It was so exciting!”  Now with three Thrive vacations under her belt, Su-Lin is looking forward to checking out next year’s vacation plan. Her goal is to try new experiences and meet new friends.
